Files are dated April 18, 1994.

I don't think they should have that there. 1.0 Revision B isn't released yet
and it should not be distributed. (That's why I assumed you know where the
beta site is!) The released version is from last August and is the one you saw
on ftp.utas.edu.au.

The difference there is that 1) you are either reading the news spool directly
on the local hard disk or 2) you are getting the articles over local Ethernet.
But for people using dial-up IP, it isn't practical to search the boby of all
the articles unless the NNTP server does the searching.

I don't know since he's feeding the messages as news article to me. Sorry.
Someone from Trumpet will probably jump in here and tell you though.

Subject: Problems with WS_FTP
I have 2 dial-in's for SLIP. One is a really close to my house and the other
is really far. So I use the close one to save on the fone bill. My question
is involvoing WS_FTP. When I try to use it when calling this close phone # it
doesn't work and always times out. I tried the long-distance # and WS_FTP
works! Why is this? Both systems are connected together along with a few
more. The only deal is the rest are long distance from me and I would like to
be able to FTP and save some money. Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks
Brent
